This is a brilliant idea – it is brilliant because it is a wonderful, brief, condensed way to express a view of one’s self. It is also a wonderful exercise for students to 1) introduce themselves and/or 2) introduce a historical actor. I cannot wait for more six word biographies of Hernan Cortes. My version: “Not a plumed snake, yet deadly”. Columbus anyone? Porfirio Diaz? Sor Juana? Che? This is going to be fun.

My six word memoir you ask? “Historian. Likes The Clash. Fears zombies”.
